Had dinner at the Richmond Station with friends. Two of us had the burger. Don't skip the fries because you'll be sorry. One friend had the pan seared pickerel. Everything was very filling and so delicious. The Malbec wine was a little over priced. Really enjoyed our table close by the kitchen so you can see all the action. The... More

What can be said about Toronto’s very own Richmond station – a darling of the restaurant scene since its inception, and among the top ten restaurants by the Canadian data journalism website 10 and 3. My first experience at this restaurant was a few years ago, when I was delighted to try one of the most innovative menus in the... More

I went here with a friend, all the food we had was very good. One dish was a bit of a miss and was just okay. I thought the prices were fairly reasonable and I really enjoyed sitting right in front of the kitchen and getting to see the action.

This is my favorite restaurant in Toronto for special occasions. The food is always excellent and the deserts are creative and worth making an exception for. High quality . Price seem to have increased a bit from last visit and service seemed a bit rushed - but it was Good Friday and the guaranteed quality of the meal more than... More

I was taken to a wonderful birthday dinner here before going to the Ed Mirvish Theatre for a show. We were greeted and escorted to our table, which was up a few stairs. This section faces an open kitchen where the chefs work diligently and seemed to be enjoying preparing our food. The wait staff was attentive and very knowledgeable.... More

Even though we sat facing the kitchen, was still a great experience. Carefully catered to husband's gluten allergy, waitress attentive, and cooks were entertaining and engaging. Third trip and never a problem with the meal or service!

Brought my in laws here before going to the opera... Very accommodating, delicious food. One of the few places in Toronto that knows how to make a dessert worth ordering.

I've been wanting to go back to Richmond Station since the last time that I was there in August of last year. It had been my second time eating there and the great experience both times definitely imprinted on me. The menu is not hugely extensive or exotic, but you'll find what I feel is comfort food with distinctly Canadian... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
