Went for lunch and had a filling time. The service was great, lots of staff to bring out the food and they were always checking on us, in a nice way. We ordered some sushi then continued to look at the menu, added more items and then more items. The food just kept on coming. One thing to note is... More

We went on a Sunday night for supper - 6 adults and 3 children. We were greeted with a smile and our table with 2 high chairs was given to us in no time. The food was fresh, - the Sashimi was delicious. Everything came quickly. The personnel was attentive and smiling. We will definitely go there again.

We eat here often, the service and staff are great. They've made some slight changes to their menu recently which I think actually makes it better. The food is well prepared and comes out of the kitchen quickly.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU EXPECT GOOD FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY OF THAT HERE>. Hot food is not served hot, and cold food is not served cold. Within seconds of handing in your order sheet the food is on your table. It makes me suspect that large batches of food are prepared and kept... More

This is not our first time in Tatami that's why we kept on coming back But only this visit that we encounter with this unfriendly lady server who is very rude. They should be trained to be polite and nice to all customers.I don't think I will still go back and recommend this sushi place to others.

They rejected giving us a table because we went with a stroller with a sleeping baby.... Went out in winter, it was cold, they had the face to say no when I even pointed to a table that could fit us.

Hadn't been here in over a year and was disappointed. No sashimi so they try to fill you up on rice. Very limited sushi selection so all pretty cheap items. Service was quick. Price was average. Not sure that I would go there again.

My boyfriend and I eat here every two weeks or so. The food is pretty good and usually comes out quickly. If something is forgotten, the staff are quick to bring it to you when you remind them. About a month ago, the price for lunch went up a dollar ($12.99 to $13.99 I believe) which was not the end... More

I honestly believe Tatami is one of the best AYCE restaurants in scarborough. The quality of the sashimi is unbeatable, they have a great assortment of rolls, and their beef ribs are incredible. The service can be hit or miss but the food makes up for it

For the price you pay for all you can eat sushi, this is by far my favorite. Great, tasty selection with great service. Nothing high end. Just simple, fast and good.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
