Many years ago, the owners/management of this restaurant sold. The quality of the food went downhill precipitously. It's unfortunate as it used to be fantastic chicken. Now, the service is middling at best and the food not so great. I was sad to see the original owners go.

This place was recommended to me by a friend to get some great tasty takeout chicken. I was very happy with the chicken we got. It was fresh, tasty, and juicy. Highly recommended

Years ago this restaurant served great chicken. However the quality seems to have gone downhill with the change of management. I'm not sure where they get the emaciated, scrawny little birds. There's almost no meat on them and they are often dry and overcooked. It is such a pity what a good restaurant goes down.

Whenever I don't feel like cooking we head down to Churrasco and pick up the most flavourful, juicy barbecued chicken in the neighbourhood - they also make an awesomely hot sauce for the chicken. This place also does perfectly roasted little potatoes and makes great salads to go along with the cooked food. Round it off with those yummy little... More

Years ago this was the absolutely best, most delicious Portuguese chicken around. Unfortunately now it has lost some of its lustre. But we still love to run in on the way home for chicken, potatoes, rice and delicious piri piri sauce. And don't forget the delectable Portuguese custard tarts. The portions are still quite large and I usually split my... More

Better than your average churrasco but nothing special. You need to go well in advance of closing or you will find them sold out. This is a take out place. You cannot dine in at a table.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
