Extremely nice place and the best ramen ever. I have never tested anything more delicious. The staff is nice and polite. The waitress was coming and serving me water if the glass was empty. Prices are reasonable considering the great quality. Very good.

5 stars all way if your looking for Atmosphere, Incredible Staff and the most Amazing Ramon you've ever had. I tried the veggie and it was fantastic. Started with squid tentacle calamari. Again out of this world. Owners were sooo welcoming and waiter Andrew was such a nice guy with fantastic service. Suggested lots of dishes to us and he... More

This is the weirdest place you'll go when hungry at 1:30am. It's open until 2am, which is awesome after a good night out. The staff is eclectic and hilarious (random leather chairs and Chinese rooftop), and the decor is outrageously random. The music is club-like, and the DJ has no taste- in a really great way! The ramen are delicious... More

Ryoji saves up Okinawan cuisine, which is different from the usual sushi joints. It is an Izakaya, which is a Japanese pub. The portions are small (like tapas or dim sum) and the idea is to order a few dishes to share. I was there for dinner on a Friday night and got a seat without problems as the restaurant... More

Late night snack after a beautiful moment at a bar few blocks away, we ended up in Ryoji Ramen and we are delighted we found this cozy and classy place. Food was delicious and service was outstanding.

The quantity is OK - too little depending on how hungry you are. Home made style. You tend to add some more dishes other than a ramen and end up spending quite a bit of $ in the end. The desserts could be better. The quality is good. It is a narrow store, but I felt comfortable near the window.... More

The heavenly tonkotsu (pork bone soup) broth is silky, and I order it with extra roast pork and noodles: DELICIOUS! The menu is Japanese bar (izakaya) foods and tapas with an expanded menu more than sushi and sashimi. I've had dinner there many times. The variety of tastes from the selection of tapas is impressive, and desserts are expertly prepared... More

We were two adults and a baby and they thoughtfully put a high chair at our table before our arrival, not something you would expect from a hip izakaya. The service was excellent and the food was beautifully presented, delicious and quick to the table. We started with takoyaki and gyoza to go with draft Asahi beer, a nice combination!... More

This place is huge. There are lots of seats, nicely decorated with different themes in different areas. They have servers who speak different languages. All the dishes were nicely prepared and unlike other izakaya in downtown, this one was not as noisy. Enough variety of Japanese or other alcoholic drinks. Sashimi was fresh! That's most important for an authentic Jap... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
