It is a very popular place to enjoy lobster and king crab. I like their presentation, lobster mountain and crab legs stack. A little bit noisy but I think it's acceptable. It is a very busy Chinese restaurant. I try to book for 6pm dinner in Saturday afternoon , but only 4pm and 9:30pm are available. I have to take... More

We have 3 family birthdays in March, so we tend to go out and celebrate big. I had heard so much about this restaurant from my friends who have visited there. They all suggested that this is one restaurant you need to visit at least once for a special occasion. When you walk into the restaurant you are surrounded by... More

The portions are big. We ordered 'E' from menu. "E" is meant for 4 people, We had 6 people, and we had 5 boxes of left over to take home. I really like the way they cut the lobster and crab legs, claws. They are all open face, so you need to crack the shell. Every piece has meat exposed... More

been here a few times now with family and co workers. love watching everyone's faces when they bring out both the live seafood and the tower of lobster/crabs. certain flavors/seasoning taste better than others, but love the all the work has been done- so no cracking of the shells are needed! disappointing part is the dessert...no flavor, watery, paste-like at... Heard about this restaurant. Seen pictures of the lobster tower, so had to give it a try. There were 3 of us, we ordered the dinner for 3 which started with soup, pea shoot veggies with goji berries. Then the 6lb lobster tower... So much tasty lobster, covered with what looks like fried tiny fish. If you love lobster, you... More

Heard about its lobster mountain even before i fly over, didn't disappoint. Even after having another lobster restaurant and numerous buffets previously in the trip, when the dish is served, we're simply full of wows and the next table simply turned to ask what's the name of the dish, turned out ordering it too. Not very authentic way of "under... More

I went out with friends for lunch. This restaurant is not too busy at lunch time during weekday. Having a reservation will help speed up the service of having a table ready for your party. This restaurant has a few options for set lunches - label good for 2-3 persons, but the portion is very generous. I say it is... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner and we had very high expectations because of this place's fame. We went on a saturday night so we reserved a day ahead. Unfortunately there was only the 4 pm schedule available or the 10pm. So I suggest to reserve maybe a couple of days ahead. The restaurant staff insisted several times that we... More

Fisherman's Lobster Clubhouse is definitely a place to try at least once if you enjoy seafood. They specialize in large size lobster and crab (over 6 lbs). It was definitely fun dining experience to indulge in so much shellfish but can be overwhelming as eventually you get tired of such large portions. The service was good and mainly handoffs like... Definitely a surprise. Mainly serve seafood such as Vancouver/Alaska crabs and Atlantic lobsters. The crabs and lobsters could be as big as 10 pounds (people were holding their live seafood to take photos). They serve the seafood by stacking the pieces up like a Jango block. For the larger seafood, they would have 2 guys carry the Jango block out... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
