Ematei still delivers quality and authentic Japanese food. The food is incredible and the service is of the highest standard. The interior could do with a little refreshing, but honestly it doesn't take away from the food! Great job Ematei for doing what you do...More

World class Japanese cuisine in Toront! Has never disappointed and I've been frequenting this Toronto hot spot for well over two decades! So please, life is too short! Enjoy the community that inspires you along with family, friends and, of course, the food you love!

This well established Toronto restaurant is famous for its outstanding sushi. It has been my go to for Japanese Cuisine since the late eighties and has never disappointed!!! Time now for some Sukiaki; Japanese comfort food on a wintery night.

Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was very good. Sashimi and sushi was fresh with not to much rice. Will definitely return but think next time I will try the boil at the table menu. Seemed to be what was popular with the crowd.
