You would be tempted to walk right by past this diner, but if you want a traditional 'Diner' experience, go down half a flight and treat yourself to an excellent breakfast at an excellent price. Clearly a neighborhood institution, people here seem to know each...More

This is an authentic diner in the heart of Toronto. Plastic plants, frost green paint, tattered vinyl on the rotating bar stools, one waiter, and great food at a cheap price. I had the Montreal smoked meat on rye - not a good a you...More

Ordered a feta and spinach omelette on the soft side. The omelette was hard and the feta put just stuck on the top like a pizza and folded so it was not cooked with the omelette. Ingredients were not high quality. Worst omelette ever.

Had the chicken souvlaki special and chopped steak special. Portions were big. The food was flavourful and served nice and hot. The staff were friendly and nice. Its comfortable to sit in the diner and just relax. I will definitely be back!

I've been going on Sundays with a friend for about a year. You always know what you're going to get - an honest welcome, full cups of coffee and a basic brunch meal. Coffee's not the best but it's always hot. The ambiance is authentic...More

On Carlton St., just west of Jarvis. Neat little downtown spot. Decor-wise, it is a very real, old style family diner, without the corporate "let's make this look like a 50's diner" feel that some other places try to do. There were 3 of us...More

New owners took over this location and i'm happy to say not too much has changed. The great basics that were there before are still there. They added a few more interesting options to the menu. One thing that did not change and should have...More

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

The week-end staff are excellent - so friendly! I don't go in the afternoon 'cause the waitress (Maria is her name) is so miserable.

Does anyone know when that nasty waitress is not working? The food is good, but she is so rude - ESPECIALLY TO WOMEN - that I can't go in when she's working.
