We went here on the recommendation of a Family member. Being called the Irish Embassy and having been there for years we had very high expectations. Our actual experience was somewhat less than that. We ordered a couple of Kilkenny followed by Bangers and Mash...More

My family and I had lunch here at the Embassy Pub and Grill. We enjoyed the food from the varied menu. The restaurant was not very large, and had that old style Irish Pub feel to it. Good food and prices were not bad. Would...More

Typical pub fare in a 19th century bank building. The big room can be somewhat noisy. Ate here twice on a recent stay and enjoyed both meals. Fish and chips serving was massive.

Go for the Guinness, and they have a good choice of bar food - chips with curry sauce a great share for 2 or 3 . Didn't think the wings were great , but I recommend the sausage and mash .

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

The Irish Embassy takes great pride in its dedication to a centuries-old tradition of hospitality unique to the Emerald Isle. This magnificently restored heritage site - one of Toronto's first banks - is now home to an enchanting Old World ambiance and standard of personal service and cuisine echoing a commitment to excellence without rival. Conveniently located in the heart of Toronto's financial district, the Irish Embassy is extraordinarily flexible in its multi-purpose design. Not only a warm and inviting setting for the after-work crowd and personal dining, it is recognized as one of downtown's most dynamic venues for upscale cocktail receptions, social celebrations and corporate gatherings.
