The location is convenient and easy parking nearby. The restaurant is fairly big, lots of tables available even when the place is busy. Really clean, tidy and organized. Staff is friendly and professional service. Lots of menu options. Been there a couple of times and never had any issues. If you are a vegan this is the place for you.... More

Great food. Hearty helpings. A bit pricey and I wish they were more careful about their ingredients (organic, no canola for example). But I always enjoy good, filling eats when I go to Fresh.

This place is awesome! A friend of mine was interested to try this place out both knowing nothing about this place. We went in for dinner and noticed this place didn’t have meat on the menu… I quickly realized this was a vegan restaurant and I was a little worried. The server came buy and explained the menu and offered... More

I ate here 3 times in my 6 day visit to Toronto. I could happily work my way through the whole menu. The soups were delicious and I LOVED the platter with special bread and a variety of dips. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Would absolutely recommend this little gem!

The dragon bowl needed more flavour. Tasted ok when we added hot sauce but it was missing flavour. Also a tad dry. Onion rings were amazing. Both fries were good. Mushroom veggie burger was good. Our son didn't like it but we did.

My daughter and I headed to the Queen and Crawford location for a late lunch. As it was a beautiful day the patio was full so we took an inside table. The juicer was so loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation. All tables are located within hearing range of the machine so moving was not an option.... More

This is an awesome place to eat. I love when you sit down they leave you with glasses and a pitcher of water! So many choices. The food was absolutely delish! I wish that I could have eaten more and the prices were reasonable. You are pretty tightly stuck in and have no real privacy for conversations but a good... More

No matter which Fresh you visit, the food is consistently delish...and fresh, just as you'd expect. Nothing fancy here, just earthy goodness. We love the layered salads and bowl, and try to mimic them at home, but never to the same effect. We even order take-out on a regular basis, and know we're not like adding on carbs, even if... More

We love Fresh. Noting more to say but - it's delicious. It's filling. It's never disappointing. Great food. Quick service and the coffee is the best. If we are in the city we have a meal and take more home for later - always.

They have all the 'right' food and juices. Loads of variety. The service is great and the servings large. The ambiance is a bit crowded and you can find yourself within a foot of your neighbours Buddha Bowl. I would encourage people to try it once and decide. They serve a lot of carbs so watch out for flatulence when... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
