Had been visiting Giorgio D. on a Friday evening with out of town guests. The meal was excellent and the staff very attentive. The one irritation is that we were the only guests that day during a two hour period, which is kind of disappointing taking into account the quality of both meals and service.

My daughter and her husband took us here for my birthday celebration. It was a wonderful evening. We prefer to dine early, so our reservation was for 5:30. We were very pleasantly surprised to see a guitarist (Bruno DiBartolomeo) set up for wonderful live background dinner music. That made the night special in itself. All of our food was fantastic.... Came to Giorgio D to celebrate our engagement with some family and had a great experience. This place is kind of a hidden gem, but very easy to find as it is located right at steeles and hwy 400, Very accessible from 401 and 407 - which was good for us as we had family coming from different parts of... Everything was good here. But I don't understand one thing, whenever I call there to reserve a table, I get same reply every time that they are completely booked but when we went there just to try our luck, I found entire restaurant was empty except three tables!

My husband and I always look forward to eating at Giorgio D's. Richard greets us warmly and we are seated in cozy chairs enjoying the relaxing music coming from their piano. I have dined in restaurants in major cities all over the world and the quality of the food at Giorgio D ranks in the top three Italian restaurants that I have been at. It hidden in a location where one would not expect to find a restaurant of this quality. The Orata is fantastic, the Rib Eye steak is exquisite... More
