Bad experience. Only 15 people in the restaurant, but still: I order sparkling water no ice upon seating. Never came. I ordered a Kingfisher. After 15 minutes I asked where it was, they brought it. Luckily food came soon after. Bombay fish was clearly already cooked for some time, overcooked. Had two dishes, supposed to have different tastes, but they... More

I mainly order or pickup from here. The amount of time it takes for food to arrive is crazily variable, anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours (especially slow during peak times). Nonetheless, it is the clearly best Indian restaurant in midtown, especially if you like your food to be spicy. Yes, it's not as cheap as places in Scarborough... More

Dinner on Saturday night, very good, well worth a visit in my opinion. We had veg samosas and veg pakora to start, lamb rogan, lamb madras, butter chicken & beef rogan all were tasty, spicy and well presented. A must when in the area.

We've been coming to Jaipur since it opened and have always loved the food and service. After tonight we won't be back. Chicken had that reheated taste. Service was horrible, I don't even think our server spoke English, he just nodded a lot. Ordered a cocktail off their cocktail menu only to be told they only serve wine and beer?... More

My dear friend and i went there for lunch winterlicious at 2pm. on their window, it was marked that business lunch ends at 2.30pm. we were rejected as the kitchen was closed. when we asked about their sign, they are numb about it. they just do not want costumers. this leaves bad taste to the restaurant which my friend previously... I've eaten here many times over the past years and it was one of my favourites, unfortunately it is no longer. We were the only diners in the place and now I know why. The bar was poorly stocked in liquor and beer and the waiter struggled with our order. The vindaloo was not very spicy and the abundant sauce... More

Friends in Toronto took us to Jaipur grill. The food should be moderate spicy but it turned out to be very hot compared to the last time they visited it. The restaurant is neat and clean. It not a typical Indian restaurant with Indian ornaments and music. The food was good but not outstanding

I try to go every friday to please myself with their Saag or Tikka Masala or just classic Makhani chicken (and some others) or a chik pea "Chana Masala" with some fresh semi-oily naan bread. The place is quite simple, nothing fancy, and the service is good enough ...but the food is tasty.

The lamb chops are unique and delicious and the dhal delightful, but the place is "mutton dressed as lamb" - bland and cold decor that makes you feel more like you're in a strip mall. Better to order take out.

For what they charge the food is NOT worthy enough and the service is bizarre. The ambience is more of a take away type of food place where as the prices are on par with a proper sit in restaurant.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
