I have never failed to enjoy the food OR atmosphere of the Danforth in Toronto. This visit was no exception. Though the decor was not classic white and blue, but darker and warm. Modern but soft music played (basouki didnt start till 8pm) yet it did not lack for appropriate feel or personality. The staff was welcoming and warm. Within... More

Dined at Pan during Winterlicious 2017. They squished way too many people into the restaurant and it was very uncomfortable. We felt rushed and were actually asked to leave before we had even been presented with our bill. It was quite clear that there were regulars who were treated more respectfully as well. The food was just OK. The belly... More

One of the most consistent places on the Danforth. Others have risen and fallen, but Pan has maintained their position as one of the best choices in Greektown. Most likely due to the owners presence all the time, ensuring quality food and service. Though mainly greek food, their dishes seem to have a little something more than other greek restaurants... We had lamb shanks and fish. Both were good. The service was excellent and very friendly. We had the dinner that was $28 for appetizer, entree and dessert. Had choices. I also cannot have gluten, and they had a nice choice of gluten free food.

Had a great dinner in this restaurant last night. The reception was warm and welcoming. Well decorated for the occasion. We had the Mermaid platter. It is a combination of seafood and meat. Well made and delicious. Had desert as well with coffee. The price is medium range. Above all the service was great. Will return in the future.

Went there for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. This is typical Greek , maybe too Greek when it comes to George who will make sure you understand the rules and also makes sure you get what you need. Main courses tasted amazing, and because the portions were so large we ended up taking half home. The extra large... More

mediocre food and most likely old forzen food. We used to go to Pan few years ago and decided to go last night. Things definitely have changed. They offer a set menu, so we went for it and really regret doing that. The Tilapia put you off from the first bite and I stopped eating anymore. I am not sure... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
