Best Greek food I've had in ages, perhaps best in Greektown. Certainly better than my hometown of Montreal. Amazing pork loin kebab plate, not an ounce of fat or gristle. Delicious potatoes and rice on the side. Huge portion. Great home bread to start and best avgolemono soup I've had in ages. The Caesar salad was dynamite too, nice ground... More

Too often the souvlaki is overcooked in Greek restaurants and my interest in Greek cuisine has declined. Here at Pantheon both the chicken and pork were perfectly cooked and my interest has returned. The salad, potatoes and rice were all very tasty. The grilled calamari was perfection in it's preparation and cooking. Great food!

The food is really good and the service and atmosphere is great. Really friendly people working there. Just the prices are a bit high so take that into account.

This is our go to restaurant when we want really good greek food. The grilled calamari is the best. I always have it and I always have the grilled fish - they give you so much food I can never finish it all. The service is very good - they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your... When I want a taste of Greece, there is my go to this restaurant. The food never disappoints, with its delicious shrimp saganaki and calamari - I feel I'm in a village in Crete. The staff is friendly and you will laugh with John, the singer waiter, singing Happy Birthday. It's definitely the best Greek food on Danforth. Don't expect... More

Started with a great grilled calamari, simple yet perfect! Followed by a chicken liver appetizer that was almost equally amazing! The chicken souvlaki was simple but seasoned and cooked to perfection . Let's not forget the dips! Absolutely delicious. The wine list on the other hand a little disappointing to say the least. They can use a few more servers... More

Was treated to a birthday dinner. The family was looking for the best greek place on the Danforth. Selected Pantheon based on Trip Advisor. The food was fantastic. It was very busy - so very loud. The service was friendly but slow - we put it to a busy Saturday night and enjoyed the food.

This busy Greek place is worth the visit. I was hesitant to book a large party as we had never eaten here before and wondered about some of the negative comments. Im happy to report everyone at the table said the food was excellent and very good. The dips with veg are complimentary and delicious. Flaming cheese, a loud "OPA!"... More

Went for dinner on Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised on how busy it was. The service was excellent even when it was so extremely busy. Decided to try and duplicate the octopus meal I had in Mykonos and this was it. Loved the grilled Calamari too. Portions are large and very satisfying. Will definitely be back again.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
