Amazing food, decent portions, I will be back with the wife. 20 plus years in Toronto and I've never heard of this place before. Try the sea bass!

Friendly atmosphere and the food is above average and I give it 3 stars. I ate there once but I will go back and try it again.

Tasty foods, nice decor, reasonable prices. Reservation recommended at dinner on the weekend. Tables outside in the summer.

Love going here for down-home comfort food. Lots of variety which should appeal to many. I think the sea bass(branzino) is mediocre but the salmon and pasta dishes are terrific. Service is great. Make a reservation if you plan on going there over the weekend.

Since our go-to Italian restaurant, Camerini on Mt Pleasant, closed two years ago we have been searching for a neighbourhood replacement. After trying three others without success, we came here, a place we have walked past on our visits to Lawrence & Yonge. It was hard to get a table as the regulars congregate here in large packs, but once... More

We know the staff here (which appears to be stable with low turnover) and they know us. We are warmly welcomed and made to feel like valued regular customers. Service is sincere and reliable and friendly. The food arrives hot and fresh and tasty; there is a reassuring continuity to the experience. The dishes don't keep changing so we know... More

My family and I dined in this restaurant on a Saturday evening. It’s a very quaint and small restaurant however it’s very cozy once you walk in. It’s a very traditional Italian restaurant with many of the wait staff speaking the language and have a good understanding of Italian food. We ordered a bottle of wine from a pretty good... More

The owner greeted us with a smile. The service was friendly and fast. The seafood salad with Avocado was as good as ever. Baked Halibut was fresh and tasty. After having our Creme Caramel and cappuccino we were happy campers. We had excellent service and excellent food that we are accustomed to experience at Parmigiano.

We love to go to Parmigiana either with another couple or on our own on a regular basis. The food is always great & the service is gracious. A neighbourhood gem!

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
