A night out with family & friends. Service was great from start to finish. No problem when we called to say traffic was bad and might be late. Has the feel of expensive intimate fine dining at more reasonable price.

As of the moment they are hidden behind some construction, not always the case but get out and support these guys. Tonight we went and had both pasta and a meat dish. Both were good to great for the price. Enjoyed a bottle of wine as well, again not over priced.

In a time where restaurant come and go so fast, it is reassuring that a family owned original trattoria where quality and expertise in the plate and warm welcoming are the trademarks can survive trends and fashions. Regina Trattoria is the real thing! Pastas, veal, sauces, roasted vegetables, wine selection are just what you need for a great supper. Not... More

I ordered food to take away after reading numerous reviews. I was not disappointed. The food was ready on time, very well packaged, and hot. Everything was delicious, from the manicotti, to the capricciosa salad packed with tasty vegetables, and the mussels in tomato sauce. Not expensive, not pretentious. Will come back to eat in!

Walking into this restaurant was like entering a time capsule - old school Italian in all the good ways! Small, comfy, diligent service and a menu with pretty much every classic Italian dish know to man (or woman). My wife was desperate for a plate of linguine con vongole and after a long internet menu search we found this place... More

As a first time visitor to this small nicely appointed Italian restaurant, we were extremely surprised on how good the pizza was. The crust was cooked to perfection and the toppings where fresh and abundant. So if the pasta is anything near as good as the pizza, then we can understand why this place has been around for over 40... More

Honest italian food from before italian became trendy. So there's nothing trendy here but the food is good, portions are large and flavour is there. Buono

This neighborhood stalwart has been there more than 40 years. Good pizza, pasta dishes, family run ( we were served by the second generation). Great on a warm evening to sit at the open windows and enjoy the College Street passegiata...

First time being to toronto and i really wanted to go to Little Italy. It did not impress me. On to the restaurant. When we came in it at 12:00 was dead noone was there to eat. We did see people start coming in around 1pm so most people seem to start attending later in the day. I also noticed... More

I enjoyed everything about my visit and meal. The pizza was excellent, service was fantastic, restaurant was small and cozy and the prices were reasonable.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
