Not sure if it was just a bad experience - but my food was very average. The soup was 99% broth and the green curry had no taste and was chalk like. The place - as advertised - is loud and cafeteria like.

Hadn't been to the Yonge street location before last evening. Found it to be the same value that I remembered from the restaurant's previous incarnations. Tasty food, reasonably priced and the same communal tables. Right in the tacky, glitzy tourist zone just up from Yonge...More

Salad King is one of my favourite places to eat downtown. Sadly I have a peanut allergy, so the number of safe dishes here is extremely limited. Luckily, I love the green curry, and so far it has been peanut safe. I have never had...More

Fast service, good choices in dishes, food was very tasty, portions are big and price is really affordable considering it's right downtown Toronto. The only thing is that it's very noisy, can't really have a conversation and you're sitting on a long picnic table next...More

The girls and I felt like Thai. Salad King rarely disappoints. While it is overwhelming with bright artwork all over the place, and sounds from the semi-visible kitchen and a plethora of conversations, it's what makes Salad King a destination. From my university days, I...More

A very busy place. Fast efficient service and good food. Nothing spectacular but for the location, price and fast service its okay. Not so great for people with young kids.

This isn't a fair review, as the only dish I get here is the golden curry chicken. But let me tell you about the golden curry chicken. It's like spicy sunshine in a bowl. Good enough to drink like soup. I dream about this dish....More

Delicious! Affordable, fast and really good! But the restaurant's name don't fit the menu... They only have two salads to choose. We recommend the Siam and Hot thai stir fry noodles.

I know they have a modern elevator but I am not sure that there isn't a small grade difference at street level. I did not pay those close attention to this sorry.
