It was the sun that caused me to linger, West Coast summer-warm despite it being mid October. And the air, warm enough to enjoy, fresh enough to enliven. The south facing terrasse is where to be on afternoons like this. Server personable in a professional...More

I visited this restaurant so many times and I'm never tired. The "problem" is that I always get the tartar which is the best one I ever had. I strongly recommend the mojito that is for sure the best you can get in town. I...More

I lunch here probably once a year, the food and service are always spot on. While I have never been totally in awe, it is always consistent, as one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I can’t imagine being disappointed. M-F lunch is...More

We recently ate dinner at Sassafraz . It was an awesome shared plates meal, from the appetizer menu. The lentil soup was lovely , the octopus excellent, and the fish tacos, with salmon, were delicious. We also tried the avocado wedges - interesting - unlike...More

A pretty dining room and a good reputation led me here but the food and service were just okay, and it was expensive.

We had a great time here with a few colleagues in a trip from London. Food was excellent and wines very good. Service was just a touch haphazard at times - all very pleasant but just seemed to take a while to get what we...More

Sassa Fraz is my favorite restaurant in Yorkville hands down. The patio is amazing on sunny days, the couch seats in the lounge (my personal fave) are welcoming, the drinks are cold and the service is fantastic. Don't even get me started on the grilled...More

We in Toronto for a week and were at Sassafraz twice. The location is great, right on a corner so you could watch the world go by, which made the great food and service that much better. Recommend it highly..

I came for the food and come back (repeatedly) for the service. I think what differentiates good from great is service. Amazing and attentive waiter (Michael), knowledgeable and passionate somm (Austin). The ambience, the robust menu, the wine. I recommend x a million.

This truly remarkable restaurant is often visited by well known actors and celebrities but in reality the customer is treated like a star! Since the fire that hit this restaurant years back, it has become a beautiful location to dine at or simply enjoy a...More

Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its

from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of
the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools,
jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill

It's an upscale restaurant in yorkville so I wouldn't wear sweat pants and a hoodie but jeans and shirt is just fine.
