This is a classic diner-style restaurant that had very reasonably priced food. The corned beef has seemed freshly made/cut up; it wasn't mushy or canned-looking. The pancakes and other items were good and cooked to order. Very friendly service, too!

Since I could not find this Sunset Grill on Trip Advisor I still want to rate it as excellent. After a great lunch for a party of 12, one member took ill and collapsed(nothing to do with the food). The staff was most helpful calling an ambulance, clearing the route for the stretcher to get to him, opening doors etc.The... More

Good tasting bacon and eggs , home fries very tasty , coffee Luke warm , service was terrible. She walked by my breakfast on the cooks counter three times before serving it. And since I was the only one in the restaurant , there's no excuse. Anyway I have eaten there many times , maybe next time I'll get a... More

Not sure if this the sunset grill I went to, but the one I went to serves breakfast all day and is located in Leaside. The food was fantastic, and our waitress Carmen was super, great service, funny and very polite. Will certainly go back next time I am in Toronto.

This restaurant used to be at 2006 Queen Street but it has moved to Scarborough in the Kennedy Commons strip. I guess they haven't changed the location yet to Kennedy but in the restaurant there is a picture and information of the old location on the wall. It is a small restaurant and they have all day breakfast. We got... More

Maybe Sunset Grill should consider cleaning their restaurant once in a while. Recent visit saw food rotting under the tables. Restaurant is a dump in major need of a renovation/cleaning.

We ate here twice whilst staying in Toronto. Found Sunset Grill to be very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Both days the breakfast was exceptional.

With all the amazing restaurants in Toronto, I'm not sure how we ended up here...but we were hungry, it was 1 in the afternoon, and my partner really wanted 'breakfast'. And it was a really hot day and we didn't want to keep looking. It has quite the atmosphere......actually, I kind of like it. Very family friendly, and there were... More

First time here and the food was delicious. Ate two benedict eggs with Hollandise sauce, potatoes with mushroom sauce and two pancakes. This brunch was filling and satisfying and definitely will be back here again at this location in the beaches.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
