Came to listen to the music and were refused at the door because we had out of state ID's. A total waste of time and the people at the door were incredibly rude. If you are from out of town, definitely don't waste your time on this place. If you are from the GTA, find a better place, there are... More

Worn interior, pretentious servers who didn't give a sh.t about our table. Order the pork chop dinner promoted as over 1lb of meat. When it came there was a little tiny chop on my plate. Called the girl over who shrugged and said 'Oh well'. Then she came back a while later with the raw version and said "Here's what... More

So the servers here are great. The decor is cosy, traditional pub-ish, but sadly the wallpaper is torn off in places throughout the restaurant area, it needs a bit of freshening up. They have an extensive menu, but it's not cheap and it's not really consistent. I keep wanting this place to do better so that we can really enjoy... More

My wife and I stopped in at the Black Dog Pub today to enjoy lunch together. There are plenty of food and beverage options and our meals were wonderful. This is definitely a delightful place to visit and enjoy. Our server was attentive and friendly. Add this pub to your places to visit.

I would like to like this place, I really would. But every time I decide to give it a second chance it bombs again. The service is just this side of polite although it seemed that "regulars" got much friendlier treatment than we did. The big problem here, though, is the food. It has been going downhill for sometime and... More

Visited the place with my friends and we all enjoyed their food and great beer. Good customer service and the service was fast. It's packed most of the time and getting a parking spot is not easy. It has a warm friendly ambience. Liked the place.

Had dinner here with a large group of 14 people to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place is very welcoming and as we had a reservation, we were able to be seated quickly. The food was very good for everyone. I had the calamari as an appetizer and the beef short ribs for dinner...very tasty and a good portion. There... More

Visiting with great friends was the intention. The restaurant was secondary but they scored anyhow. Our server was on the ball and was always available even though it was very busy. She kept an eye on our drinks and was there to fill up waters or beer! Her food reco was spot on. The patio was great! Definitely a revisit... More

Friday Aug. 19, 2016, arrive for beverage and dinner and to watch the Olympics at 9:20 pm. This is suppose to be a high end classy establishment and their prices reflect that falsehood. 1 TV in the small 14 seat bar area that was on the Blue Jay Game. I asked for them to please put on the Men's 4... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
