Be sure to book your reservation well in advance. Trust me it's worth the wait. I went with 2 other people and we ordered 5 appetizers and 4 entrees. We couldn't decide because everything looked to delicious, and it was worth every delicious bite. The service is also nothing short of amazing.

Sotto Sotto still does somethings well. Started with a grilled octopus that was wonderfully tender and delicious, probably the best I've ever had. Sadly the whole fish that followed was lacking flavour, and a veal dish that could have used less lemon. Thank God the wine saved us, a glorious Barbera from Braida was exquisite!!!!!!!

We had the whole fish that was de-boned in front of us. Best fish I ever had. Penne was cooked to perfection but the sauce was too watery. Service was good and un-rushed and love the ambiance. Why so many celebrities love this place.

Man this place was tight when we came. We waited 25 min at the front door. Kinda was a pain. But I told my friend to relax you will love the food. So he did 45 min later, we sat in the corner kinda upset but it was worth the wait.

We visited Friday evening and had the semi private dining room. Excellent ambiance and food with very attentive service from Spencer. Am sure he won't forget our English party!

Food was good. The particular waiter we had came off a little rude and cold. The main was that it was not spacious whatsoever. We were put in a corner table for two, and there was another couple sitting at the table about 30 cm away from us. When I was getting in my seat, I got so nervous that... More

Been here on many occasions and I find the atmosphere upstairs much nicer then downstairs. Tables are too crammed on the first floor. Service is always attentive, and food good!

We have not been to Sotto Sotto since their relocation. It had fallen off our radar and it seemed we would not think of it until we were already in Toronto on a visit, and when checking they were fully booked. Fortunately this time we extended the weekend and when we checked there was an opening for Monday night. Our... More

Using only the freshest ingredients Sotto Sotto offers a considerable menu of simple classics and traditional creations. To start there is an abundance of wonderful salads and antipasti. Pastas are available as a second or main course dish. Main courses feature veal, beef, seafood and poultry and there are also "risotto for two" options. We also serve delicious gelati and desserts including homemade tiramisu made in the time honoured traditional style of the Rocca family.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
