This is a South Indian restaurant. Do not expect typical North Indian Cuisine that people come to expect as Indian Food. The Dosa (Indian Crepe) and Uthapum (Indian Savoury Pancake) are the best in town. But also try the Idly (Rice Cakes). The best item...More

Had been to this place a few years ago and then again last summer. Although the standard of clannishness has gone down a bit food is still delicious. The Dosa's and Vada's are delicious.

This is the best vegetarian South Indian restaurant outside India I have seen. So many options. I have not seen some of the varieties of Dosa in Bangalore also. Taste was almost authenticate. Service was quick. Price is reasonable.

I have been there twice in the last month. Both times we ordered Masal dosas and Vadai. First time the food was fine. Second time we barely got home before beginning to purge

Went on the advice of a friend who suggested the dosa. We tried some onion pakora, a spring and a paneer dosa as well as lime soda (sweet/salty). The pakora was light on the onion and heavy on the coating as well as being a...More

relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,
