This establishment is always a staple, while I'm travelling on business in Toronto. Their beer is fresh, flavourful and of quality ingredients. Their food is equally impressive.

Specially requested an order of the penne rosé and it was simply delicious! The portions are huge and very filling .. the interior of the restaurant is pretty artsy too. Overall awesome experience

Very large micro pub. Good range of brewed on the premises beer. A large variety to suit all tastes. The food is very good as was the service. Will have to go back to do more sampling as only had 2 beers and they were average in quality.

We visited on 2 recent stops in Toronto. Short stroll from the Best Western where we were staying . Cute spot with different rooms to dine. First time we were near the gas fireplace on a chillingredients winter evening. Second visit we chose the library. Now regarding the food - extensive menu, weekly specials , delicious food and great staff.... More

Went to the Granite for the first time. It was close to our hotel. I was starving at the time but could only eat one piece of my two piece fish and chips. So nice to see fresh cut fries when so many restaurants use frozen. My husband totally inhaled his pulled pork sandwich and he is an expert on... More

We loved the food ad beer here so much, we ate here three times! The best beer in the house - the Peculiar! Best meal in the house? The beer brats! Service was great when they weren't packed out, but a little slow when they were - a lot of regular customers there, and I can see why!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Granite Brewery! We had a tasting flight which included 4 of their beers. All beers were good, but the Ringberry Ale was out of this world! It was so good, that we decided to buy a growler full to take back to our motel. The beer is also very reasonably priced considering it... More

Have a great selection of in house brewed beer and nice seasonal rotation. Fantastic patio outback for summer nights.

Pleasant wood-paneled atmosphere, quick service. Fairly conventional menu, with low-fat alternatives and good fresh salads. You can linger to watch a game or have a quick pre-theatre meal.

Stumbled here between baseball games during a tournament. There were 9 of ages 10-45. Lots of space and FREE PARKING which we didn't realize until we got to the door lol. Our server was helpful and timely. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and everyone enjoyed their meals. Wings, burgers, and salad were great. Have to... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
