Good food and reasonable prices. friendly server that let you relax but was there when you needed them to be. One downside is the salad had a bunch of mushy lettuce mixed in amongst the fresher stuff. pasta was delicious and beer was cold.

There were 9 of us for the Sunday brunch. Usual mix of meats, salads, noodles, pasta, breakfast bits, plenty of veg options. Nothing wildly unusual but all done well. Beef perhaps a little overcooked. Decent drinks menu, friendly and helpful staff.

Not only the waiting time was short, Parmesan was offered and someone held the door open for me to leave. My meal was rightly portioned with a savory new aroma and taste from the wild boar pasta. Everything was clean and priced accordingly.

Enjoyed pre-theatre lunch here (my 2nd visit) and was not disappointed. With 4 all-inclusive meal choices, there's something for everyone. The food is nicely prepared and presented, and everything tasted fresh and good, including the bread and the coffee. Dessert was cream-filled lemon sponge cake...More

Advertised specials not available to the first table seated at 11am?? $18 hamburger?? Not the Hot House we recall. Seems the place has been turned over to the tour bus crowd.

We went to the Hot House for dinner and the food and service were wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive without being overbearing. I had the smaller choice Jambalaya and the Chef made sure it was gluten-free. It was hot and spicy and absolutely delicious.

Description
The Hot House Restaurant & Bar is one of the busiest restaurants in Toronto and the reason is clear... Great food. The Hot House offers spacious, colourfully decorated rooms and an upbeat atmosphere in addition to an eclectic menu to suit all tastes. From thin-crust gourmet pizzas to steaks, rack of lamb, Cajun shrimp, numerous pasta dishes, seasonal salads, and decadent desserts, this menu has it all, including an extensive vegetarian selection. The Hot House Restaurant & Bar also has an extensive selection of wines from around the world, as well as an impressive cocktail menu and a selection of offerings from Canadian microbreweries. The sun-drenched 150 seat patio at the Hot House is an excellent setting to sample some fine Italian wines, Canadian craft beers, or the one of the best mojitos and margaritas in the city. In addition to the patio and the eclectic menu, the Hot House also offers group menus and private areas ideal for birthdays, showers, office parties, meetings, or any other function.
