My wife and I dined here before attending a show at the Royal Alex Theatre. With no reservations, all restaurants along the south side of King Street were filled to capacity, leaving Forget About It as the last and furthest the restaurant westward along the King strip. The place was 90% empty with no exaggeration. We immediately hated the name,... More

Came here with a group and I was so disappointed. The salad was wilted, the pasta was sticking together, the chicken was a mystery until someone bit into it. The only thing that was remotely edible was the vegetable dish. The shrimp were good, except for the excess butter. The cost was $45, which was atrocious! This is the worst... More

An Italian-themed restaurant in the theatre district, Forget About It offers affordable and delicious suppers. I had the $25 prix fixed three-course dinner, including the house salad, spaghettini primavera (though they let me substitute penne for spaghettini) and tiramisu, all of which were delicious. The service was very good as well. I won't forget about this gem!

Hidden gem in Toronto, King Street, virtually opposite the Prince of Wales Theatre. This is a fabulous restaurant opening hours 4.30pm to 10pm - ideal for pre theatre dinner or early dinner. The set menu is out of this World and the food is on par with many high quality end restaruants in Toronto, such as The Keg and Wahlburgers.... More

Made reservations at this restaurant for a business dinner. The wait staff was excellent and the food was superb. All of our party cleaned their plates clean. I had the chicken parmesan which is my standard for all Italian restaurants and they did not disappoint. A well run and delicious restaurant.

We went to Forget About It just before going to see Cabaret at the Princess of Wales theatre and it was great. It's very close to the theatres and the service was very attentive. My husband and I selected different things from the three course menu - I had the stuffed chicken breast and my husband had the salmon. We... More

This is a great place to go for dinner. It's clean, pretty and delicious. It was also right across the street from Hyatt Regency where we were staying! Highly recommended.

Prior to going to the theatre, we found this spot on King St. They offer a 3 course meal for $25 and it was delicious! I had the salad and my partner had the soup - both delicious! Main meals were salmon for me, chicken for him - and we both enjoyed the flavours and presentation! Desserts were also delicious.... More

Following a downtown event that let out around 6PM, we were walking along King Street and saw and enticing sign for $25 (Soup, Entrée, Dessert), so we ducked in and got a seat right up at the window to people watch. The waiter was prompt and explained the $25 menu items. We both liked the stuffed chicken, but were not... More

This is my second visit and it's great again. What a lovely place with great food and excellent service. This time was with my friend and he was very impress too. He had Caesar salad and Spaghetti a la Bolognese, I had Bruschetta and Chicken a la Parmigiana. Great service with a professional manner. Will go again near future.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
