A better than average ambience (for a Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall), the hot and sour chicken soup was some of the best I've ever had. The chili chicken (I'm told one of the marque dishes) was so so. Would go back for the soup but definitely order a different entrée.

The food is excellent, service is good, though the place is small , especially on weekends but it is still worth waiting.

I honestly love eating here. The lunch menu is super reasonable and the food is tasty. I've never had any issues. The chicken 88 is something else!! Delish.

Not everything is really spicy and the server is kind in steering you in the right direction, but this restaurant is famous for Hakka spice, and it can get hot. Tasty food, generous portions, keeps this place hopping at lunch time.

I really like their food. It's not over the top spicy like other Hakkah food restaurants. I can't tolerate spicy. I also like a little kick, not entirely so spicy that I can't even taste the food. This restaurant has tasteful food. The only thing that I didn't like about this place is their service. They have messed up my... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
