If you want traditional dim sum this is a great spot in Scarborough. Make sure to go early before cart service starts at 9:30am. The carts are slow and gerenally the food is cold with lots of people lining up at the carts. The order menu is easy and bilingual, I find the food is much fresher and the service... More

Terrible service. Encounter a few very rude dim sum cart pushing ladies. Cheap food. Would not recommend unless you like to run right over by the exit where the cart first come out to grab your dim sum or sit and wait forever for them to come by when the cart is empty and keep on waiting.

My wife and I ate dinner at Perfect recently. We were attracted initially by the generous 2 for 1 coupons in the Entertainment discount book. We enjoyed the beef noodle, sweet and sour sliced steak, and seafood hot pot dishes as well as the complimentary soup and dessert. The portions were generous enough to provide take-out for lunch the following... More

We felt unwelcome at this restaurant. The wait staff were not able to communicate in English. Our order was not fulfilled. One item never arrived in spite of repeated reminders. The food was tasty, but, the ambience was noisy and not conducive to a pleasant meal

One of my fondest memories of dimsum are the push carts with the food and the voices of the ladies shouting out what they have in their cart. Nowadays, you simply order from a sheet and they bring you the food, just like any other restaurant. What I love about the place is that they've kept this tradition, even if... More

Who has the nerve to call their restaurant Perfect Chinese Restaurant? Located in McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas at the Ranch 99 shopping area right side (south). They have a rich and beautiful menu with colorful exact photos of dishes. You will wish you came with more people to be able to order more dishes! The food is (probably) the best... More

Went here for Dim Sum at 12:30 today and didn't get our table till after a half hour wait. Once seated, the food carts were slow getting to the tables. After seating for an hour we only managed to order 5 items. The food was tasty and prices reasonable. Will not return because of the service.

This place opens 24 hours. Great Chinese food, lots of choices. Large servings. Dim Sum is served day or night. Try the lobster with ginger and green onions, it's delicious and well worth the money. Sometimes there's a short wait to get a table but it's worth it.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
