We usually go for saturday buffet and anjappar in brampton used to be one of our Go place for that then renovation came and when they re open i didnt see any physical change BUT management policy became unacceptable. So discriminating rule of Choosing your seat and those coming in as 6 people up gets the place of good lighting... More

If you can handle spice, this place is a must visit. Plenty of parking. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you are visiting on a friday or saturday night. The food is excellent as long as you can handle spice and strong flavors. This place uses hand ground spices which always brings a different flavor to South... More

Food is authentic in taste n reasonably priced. Weekend evening visit provides a cosy, family friendly environment. It feels like dining in India. As a suggestion to raise the bar on the service quality the staff should divide tables taking specific responsibility to ensure each table receives equal attention and timely service. We were a group of 6 adults +... More

When we arrived, they asked us if we were going to eat at the restaurant or if it was for take out. They gave us the menu, we asked many questions about the dishes and the ingredients and we placed our order. They were very helpful and polite when explaining. They told us that the order would be ready in... More

Just visited last weekend. It was my first visit their. But when I heard the name of the restaurant I thought it would be a south indian cuisine restaurant but I was totally wrong they served even north indian dishes too with many non-vegetarian options. We tried garlic chicken tikka and some iddly starter and in the very first bite... More

I heard about this restaurant for long time and I went there to try one day for lunch. Food was good and really tasty. I was looking for some really Indian flavour and only little disappointment is Porota are not fresh made. Porota are frozen one and Owen cooked. It's worths to visit family and couple.

The food served is average but what actually put me off is the behaviour of the staff.First time..they interchanged our order with somebody else and were not even close to apologetic about it...and after few weeks again time we ordered for a dish over the telephone..we were given something else (our mistake to order from this terrible place) but what... Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
