Great place to grab a quick bite without burning a hole in your pocket. Its safe to say that the pricing of everything here is extremely reasonable and probably cheaper than most other places serving similar food. The menu here is short and simple and the main draw is the biryani. The owner Munir Bozai is extremely friendly and a... More

Very simple, but terrific depth of flavour, whenever I'm in Scarborough I look for an excuse to swing by. Haven't tried the rolls yet, but it won't be long :) It's a very simple counter serving food and one small table in the "dining room"... plan on taking out!

One of the best Biryani Places in Toronto. I have tried to time the lamb and Beef Biryani on the weekend many times as it's just as good as the chicken during the week.

Alright the place is extremely small and looks creepy to some extent. However I was just looking for some Indian joints nearby and this restaurant showed up. I went it to pickup two Chicken Biryani and I must say I liked it. Quantity was more than plenty considering the Price - 5$. Two pieces of Chicken and plenty of Rice,... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
