I have been going to Lee for years and had the opportunity to recently visit as my vegetarian daughter was visiting from Europe. She likes Lee as there are plenty of vegetarian options for her....and I enjoy it too as there are plenty of meat and seafood dishes ad the food is well prepared and inventive. We had the Singaporean... More

Second time visiting Lee. Food is really best to share. He slaw is delicious and complex in flavours. The sticky ribs are a must along with the chicken Satays. A little on the pricey side but I would say you will not be disappointed. Service was excellent and the quality of food was superb.

Granted that the atmosphere at a trendy restaurant such as Lee can be somewhat frenzied on an occasion such as New Year's Eve, but the environment in which we found ourselves was not at all conducive to enjoying a distinguished meal. We were placed next to the bar as well as between the two entrances to the kitchen, so there... More

We had the legendary Singaporean slaw and we were not disappointed! The braised beef was also full of flavour and the lobster ravioli was very generously filled. A great place to come for an innovative and classy meal out!

The company, the service, the experience, the ambience...very memorable! The Singapore slaw!!! OMG! That could've been the meal right there. What an amazing creation! It was mixed at the table. Everything else was perfect: lamb, pork belly...this Asian fusion restaurant is a must.

Being an asian that isn't a huge fan of Asian food - it is difficult for me to say this but I loved every dish!!! This kind of Asian fusion brought new tastes into some of the traditional dishes. The salad is chef Lee's signature and it is a must try. I would also recommend the Peking duck; I love... More

I visited Lee for the first time 4 years ago and was blown away. Have been a regular customer ever since. Usually when my husband and I go, we don't order off the menu, we ask the waiter to surprise us with chef's recommendations and wine pairings. The only thing we specifically request is the Singapore Slaw which is unreal.... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
