Not from me it didn't. Clearly bottled, it was paler than mayonnaise and the taste defies description. Disgusting. Home fries were huge and unnecessary with a benedict and looked like roast potatoes. The waitress told me "their" hollandaise gets great reviews. Just apologise, don't tell the customer they're wrong.

We ate here with our family while staying in Toronto. Lovely quaint restaurant, good food and something for everyone even my fussy eaters! My husband loved the jugs of beer! Really good value.

Stopped here for lunch on our last day of a coach tour of North America. There was a nice atmosphere, the staff were friendly and there is a good choice of food. We had one of the daily specials - rib eye steak with fries and soup. It was delicious and the food came really quickly. Excellent value for money!

The Breakfast on a Bun was amazing! Peameal bacon, fried egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll! The staff was incredibly friendly!

This is a small restaurant with great food and terrific service. We met family for lunch and enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we had breakfast there again the next day. The portions are abundant and it is really tasty.

We stopped here for a drink. It was a gorgeous day and we sat outside. We had their Greek Poutine. It was sooo good. If you have never had it you need to visit this place and try it. Service was excellent!

We found this place to be much better than the reviews led us to believe. It's one of the only breakfast places in the neighbourhood at this price point, and it will do the job just fine. Eggs were cooked exactly to our preference, and service was wonderful. The restaurant itself is perhaps a little rundown.

We only drink decaf which they do not usually do so they went to get some for us. The eggs benedict was the best we have ever had the holiandaise sause was so creamy and was oviously home made. If you are extra hungry go for the lumberjack sandwich.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
