We went for our anniversary and the food was amazing. The price is completely reasonable for the quality and the drinks were great. We had excellent service and it's a cozy atmosphere. We will be back.

My wife and I ate here after having a private wedding ceremony in lieu of our actual one due to covid restrictions. They gave us some drinks on the house. We ordered some oysters which were great! I ordered the sriploin steak and mashed, my...wife ordered the lobster risotto and we shared some tempura shrimp. All were amazing! For dessert, I got the blueberry bread pudding and my wife got the sticky date pudding. GET THE PUDDING!!! I'm telling you, it was the best dessert either of us have ever had. Overall, our experience was great. Our server was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would suggest going!More

Claddagh Oyster House was my first dinner stop in Charlottetown PEI and I was not disappointed. First, reservation is a MUST especially on weekends and during Covid. Guests without reservations were turned away because of capacity limits. Since I made a reservation weeks ago, I...was seated immediately by a friendly server. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks in the restaurant. I ended up ordering half of dozen of the local oysters to try out and the halibut as my main, which was delicious. The fish was nicely seasoned with a crispy crust but the fish remained moist. The cheddar biscuit served between the starter and entree was delicious too. For my first night here at Charlottetown, Claddagh Oyster House definitely gives me a great impression of the city's food scene. I highly recommend the restaurant and remember to make your reservation in advance.More

We felt that this location had exaggerated reviews. It is nothing that special. The atmosphere is dark and stark, the service mediocre. The food was satisfactory but was overshadowed by those aspects.

One of the best meals we’ve enjoyed in Canada. Our starter was a dozen oysters ! Our main courses were excellent - fresh with a great mix of seafood and vegetables. And dessert was a great was to end the experience. Well worth it but...you will need to book a table in advance.More

Andrew proved exceptional service, very friendly. The oysters on the half were exquisite, halibut special was delicious, mussels and fresh kale caesar salad were yummy. Highly recommend. Make reservations in advance. Definitely will come back on our next trip

Great dinner here! The seafood pasta was delicious, as was the sticky date pudding. Small restaurant with limited seating so definitely book a reservation in advance. A little pricey but the food quality was excellent, so well worth it. Highly recommend!

YES!!!! After all the great seafood we needed a good old fashioned steak They have it and its great.... Having lived in Alberta i love my beef.... PEI beef is tasty and tender and no its not Alberta beef.... its not inferior to it either....Our steaks were tender and perfectly cooked our server Brigitte (excuse any mis-spelling of her name) was super and we had a delicious meal and lots of fun. Not pretentious just great food and of course we had oystersMore

Seeing the issues with getting a reservation, I booked one on line for the 4 of us. Since we had a 6:00 reservation, the restaurant was not full. Our server was very aloof in the beginning of service but got much better after we ordered....The oysters Rockefeller were great. The surf and turf was ordered by 3 of us. It was awesome. Desserts were off the charts. We had eaten at a few other restaurants during our stay and this was by far the best. Claddagh oyster house is a definite do over on my next trip.More

I believe there were a few steps up into the restaurant and I don't remember a ramp. The restrooms also involved steps. There may be an accessible entrance, but we didn't see one. You should check with the restaurant... More
