Cozy little restaurant. No flash here decore wise, it's all reservesed for the food. We were cramped in but enjoyed our experience. I had the deer and it was amazing. It melted in your mouth. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and considering the large group we were, the service was also great!

We visited on a Thursday and it was packed by 7:30pm so a reservation is a must. The chef and waiter were very friendly and the service was perfect. They have English on their menu which isn't common at most BYOBs. You have to order the creme brûlée fois gras. The Asian spiced duck steamed bun was also amazing. We... More

The best BYOB in Montreal. We had the chef's menu which Alex created for both of us and everything was spot on! Definitely one of the best dining experience we ever had. Wouldn't change anything about it. We can't wait to go back! We felt like part of the family. Loved it!!

The personal touch started with the confirmation phone call for the booking. Warmly welcomed, lovely intimate atmosphere and the food was great. To echo other reviews, the creme brulee foie gras is incredible. We will definitely be back!

This little restaurant gives a great culinary experience and bringing your own wine is a real bonus. We were two couples dining together and we had tickets to a show at Metropolis afterwards. We received a telephone call the morning of our reservation to confirm and to ask if we had any show to attend afterwards. When I said we... More

Very small, but intimate restaurant. Unique menu with interesting options. We had Venison and Horse. I would definitely go again.

In Montreal for the Formula 1 race, this was our third (or 4th?) year to book a reservation at Grenadine (and you should reserve... it's tiny and popular). An eclectic, but oh-so-good menu that seems to change frequently. You are practically in the kitchen with the chef, which adds to the fun. The four of us opted for a multi-course... More

This place has been around forever but I only decided to try it last night. 9 of us descended onto this cosy little BYOB restaurant and all went for the prix fixe 4 course meal... What a treat this turned out to be. The Sweat Potato soup was very nice, the foie gras creme brulée was TOO DIE FOR, the... More

We had a degustation menu there right before Christmas. The food was amazingly prepared and very inventive. We were blown away by the foie gras brulee. Definitely recommend this place. Price are very reasonable and the faact that you can bring your own wine really make it for a great/cheaper dining experience.

Thank Marie G

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
