Upon entering Bagel Expressions, it appears to be setup as a counter service establishment. However we were warmly greeted and provided with menu's and seated ourselves. It appears to be a family run business. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. It was a early afternoon on Saturday, there were a few other tables occupied. But the food being served looked... More

This family style bistro was perfect for brunch. With a wide variety of crepes, omelettes and bagels a must try if you are in the area.

Great strawberry and banana crepes. Great turkey club sandwich. Just at the end of the lunch crowd. Only one guy servicing the whole place. Not sure if there was a call out. If not the owner needs to get more help.

Everyone loved their bagel sandwiches...mine was with cream cheese. The bagel was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Yum!! Would definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch.

We heard so much about Montreal Bagels we just had to try it- we are from NY so not too much impressed us - we have it all - bagels are good but nothing unusual

Good for breakfast, but nothing too extraordinary. Very decent service and rather average, yet tasty breakfast items. One thing I was not impressed was their crepes - too sweet and thick. Their omelettes and bagels sandwiches were very decent. It has an authentic feel to it and they have a very nice outside patio.

We were staying at the W hotel and was recommended one morning to try this restaurant by the concierge. It was a short 5-minute walk from the hotel and it opens early so we decided to give it a try. Wasn't disappointed! The bagels were toasted perfectly and were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The crepes... More

We wanted to grab a quick sit down breakfast before exploring the city and wanted to try "Montreal-Style" Bagels in comparison the NJ/NY Bagels I am used to. I had the salmon and cream cheese on a bagel and my girlfriend had a grilled chicken sandwich also on a bagel. Both were delicious! She raved about the Maison Sauce on... More

We were recommendated to go and have breakfast by our hotel. We were told nothing fancy but the food is good. Our experience was disappointing. Service was slow. Stay aware from the server who wears the blue gloves. She never changes her gloves. she touches dirty dishes, opens doors, cleans tables, open fridge's and serves your food with the same... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
