Bouillon Bilk is the most pleasant culinary surprise I’ve had in Montreal in the past year. The tasting menu was refreshing, delicious and brought new discoveries with every dish. Wine paring was spot on every time. Service was professional and attentive, without being distant. The...More

I enjoyed the tasting menus with wine pairings at both Bouillon Bilk and Toque in the same week. Both restaurants offered creative menus, the dishes were carefully prepared and well presented. Toque was wonderful as expected: the dishes were beautiful, the wine was delicious, the...More

I loved everything about our meal here, from the charming host, to the attentive staff, to the crisp but cozy cream colored decor, to the lovely and delicate dishes. The menu had a great variety of foods and flavors. They accommodated my gluten-free requirement with...More

Six adults who just couldn't decide what to eat - thank goodness for the option of a 5 or 8 course taster menu. We opted for 5 courses (having eaten our way around Montreal for 5 days our over indulgence tolerance levels were wavering). The...More

This is a sure bet restaurant, everything was simply delicious, the menu is short but solid and will leave you willing to return the next day. Do yourself a favor and try at least this restaurant when you come to Montreal.

Modern, unexpected behind a store front window, first class food and service. Next time at night. French food at its best

Wonderful evening. Not too noisy and excellent service. Extensive wine list but not much on the low price end. Vodka martini had too much vermouth. Make sure you ask for it dry. Food tastefully presented. Sashimi appetizer very good. The scallops and cauliflower very special....More

Really good food, the service was professional and friendly, especially the sommeliere was talented. The wines matched perfectly to the food. The only dish that wasn’t so super was the lamb. The dessert and the tartar were terrific.

My wife and I are currently enjoying several weeks in Montreal, and it feels like we are eating our way through a town apparently well known as a foodie destination. Last night was yet one more spectacular eight course tasting menu with wine pairings, and...More

This is a high-end restaurant about 15 minutes' walk from downtown Montreal on a rather unprepossessing street. Don't worry about the locale, though (this is Canada after all). The service shone throughout and is almost worth a visit by itself; there were eight of us...More
