I come here often. The pork souvlaki never lets me down. The seasoned fries are well worth the little extra (best kept secret!!)

Stopped in for lunch while on Jean Talon shopping. Old style Montreal Greek resto, fun pics of celebs on the wall, quirky authentic staff and FABULOUS FOOD. The gyro /doner) meat was out of this world juicy and plentiful, as was the chicken souvlaki. We had taramasalata with toasted bread..delish, as well as rice, fries and a greek salad that... More

I placed a phone order for me and my husband tonight. I ordered steak with rice and lamb with rice for my husband. The lady who took the order asked if I wanted pita with the lamb. I told that her I wanted the lamb with rice instead of pita. Our order was delivered in a reasonable amount of time.... More

My husband use to frequent this establishment as a teen so we had to take our kids and family while visiting Montreal. The food is FANTASTIC!!! Nothing fancy but a must place to eat for authentic Greek Gryo or Souvlaki...eat in or take out.

Great food. Service started off slow, but improved as our orders were taken quickly and efficiently. We got our food fast and were not disappointed. The tzatziki and taramoussalata were top notch, as were the souvlaki. Word to the wise, stick to the staple Greek food, stay away from the salad (no seasoning, no taste, not good). Family wise -... We have been loyal weekly customers since we really enjoy Gyro. However, on our last 2 visits we have been disappointed mainly because the portions have been decreased by 1/2. The gyro sandwich is almost empty (worse than Marathon), the calamari plate was just ok. The chef changed a few months ago. So, with burnt gyro, with half size portions... More

NEVER eat at this restaurant. To summarise the experience the server had a old super dirty bad-aid on her finger from which there was a piece hanging onto the plates and the food! Honestly after seeing that I was done. The food wasn't bad but it didn't taste like anything. The bathroom is so dirty I was scared. Staff was... More

Staying in Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension

Neighbourhood Profile
The most ethnically diverse of all of Montreal's neighbourhoods, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension (or, Parc-Ex) stands at the city's centre, a hub for rail and metro traffic. Starting at the old station where the Canadian Pacific used to disembark, the brick-and-mortar surroundings of Parc-Ex have a homey feel, with leafy lawns and bicycle lanes seamlessly incorporated into the landscape. With prominent Greek and Spanish communities, Greektown includes the tastiest stops for brochettes and shawarma, and local bars entertain an excitable soccer fanbase. Jerry Park and Stade Uniprix stand ready for sports diehards to enjoy a game, while the the Complexe Environnemental Saint-Michel and Le Taz skate parks invite athletes to train and compete. Though built for the active and best by day, Cirque du Soleil, the TOHU center for arts, and the Le Boulevard shopping centre offer diversions for those who wish to stay late.
