Went by for a quick business lunch. Food was good, service was good, started to get a bit loud as it filled up. I would certainly eat there again, but on a more casual occasion. I have eaten their food before at certain festival kiosks, and have always found it to be good. I think most people won't be disappointed.

I found a bit expensive for the quality. After being a while in Japan, I asked a ramen and the flavor was not similar to the ones I had in Japan. However, it was good.

It's usually very packed, the food is awesome, price is fair, service is great, environment is fun, and you can't really go wrong coming here with a group of friends for a Friday/Saturday dinner before going out. We go here at least once every couple of months and we always have a great time whenever we come here!

An incredible cheery fun place to eat, not for those who want to have a quiet discussion supper. The staff are very attentive. Didn't know about the 'sake bomb', want to try next time! Great food! Not too pricy.

It’s loud, very crowded but like the schoolgirl uniform and the decor that’s part of the charm of this place. They serve amazing Japanese food in a ''Tapas style''. I recommend you the delicious Miso glazed black cod, the grilled stone beef (they bring it raw with a very hot stone so you can cook it yourself), the melting goat... More

We were 4 friends on a saturday night looking to have fun and eat well and that is exactly what we got. The place was full, there was even a line up at the door. We did not wait since we reserved prior to coming in. I would suggest to always reserve since it seems that this place is always... More

I've lost count of how many time I've been to Imadake and it's fantastic every time. It's a smaller space and on the noisy side with people yelling "SAKE BOMB" left and right but that's all part of the experience with a Japanese pub. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly. This place is great for... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
