Great food, great decor, great staff. We had a very nice evening! The squid bibimbap was an interesting twist, and totally worth it.

Had a lovely summer evening here with friends, sharing delicious Korean food in a casual but warm and inviting atmosphere. The terrasse is enveloped in greenery and lit with candles. The food was absolutely delicious, and I'm told it's quite authentic but I am not a connoisseur. The waiters are lovely but the service was a little slow... I suspect... More

We were recommended to eat at this resto. Located on Bernard East this is a smaller restaurant with a rather simple decor. Overall service was good as was the food. We shared most of the dishes. Everything was fresh, hot and rather tasty. Only downside was no real alcohol....i.e. tequila or vodka so we tried a lemon juice/rice wine combo!

Five of us visited OMMA on a Sunday late in the afternoon. It's located in the Mile End area of Montreal and is a Korean restaurant. We sat outside since it was quite warm and there was no air conditioning inside. We started out with appetizers: Korean pancakes with spring onions, carrots and kimchi which were amazing. My husband said... More

Small hipster Korean restaurant in mile end. Service was great and thoughtful. Kitchen staff worked fast and efficiently. Would recommend the bibimbap, pancakes, wings, and dumplings. Everything we ate was superb, the sauces had depth, and the textures were spot on. Reservations recommended, I will definitely be back.

Decor seems ok but not that great for a Korean resto. Food was overpriced and not that great. I wonder if it was authentic Korean food. Staff was friendly most of them were hipsters. Becareful at what time you show up there as you might have to wait

The food at Ommas was actually pretty good - we had gyozas and pickled veggies as starters and chicken bulgogi (I think that was the name) as a main dish. The chicken came with a salad leaf, which was recommended to be filled with the kimchi and the chicken. In my opinion, the leaf was redundant. On that evening, the... More

Nice little nook. Delicious food, friendly staff, the place looks so cute from the outside. Definitely one of the good ones on Bernard.

Went with a couple friends, they ordered the more expensive dishes and said their food was okay. I got one of the cheaper ones, a sweet potato noodle dish for $16 and it was quite tasty- probably the best out of anyone's pricier ones. Atmosphere was nice, cute place. Not many vegetarian options though.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
