We ordered a variety of entrees and shared them. It was an excellent way to rate the quality of the menu items - we were beyond pleased! Check for the daily specials - and, talk to your server - everyone is so friendly!

Stumbled upon this place our first night in Montreal, food was great, cocktails were great and very pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable bill at the end. Wanted to go back for our second night but thought we'd branch out and try somewhere new

3 amigos is where you go to have different vibes listening to old music and wondering whether this place was last renovated in the 70s or 80s. Food is usually good ,not top of the line. What I like the most they bring you home made nachos and salsa the minute you sit and then forget you for eternity specially... More

If you do not mind loud music with a kitch 80's decor and want to enjoy an evening with friends, Tres Amigos is the place for you. The menu is Americanized Mexican food. Good quality (mind you the salad could use a little more freshness) but the portions are generous and the service good. It can be expensive if you... More

I went there on a Saturday night, the place was packed. My friend and I got a sit right next to the speakers. The music was EXTREMELY loud and I could not hear anything my friend was saying. The service was really slow and unprofessional. I had a mango-strawberry margarita, I think they forgot to add the alcohol, tasted like... More

I enjoyed my dinner here. The decor was a bit tacky but is what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant with a mariachi band. I tried the strawberry margarita while enjoying the tortilla chips. For dinner, I had shrimp tacos and they were good. I couldn't resist and tried the Mexican deep friend ice cream. Not the absolute best... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
