Nice locale for small or large gatherings .... a bit loud but then so were we! Interesting menu on a chaulkboard, delicious appetizers, wonderful pasta. Check out the celebrity photos on the walls of the former women's prison. Such an interesting basement reno.

Situated in the basement of an old, old women's prison, the character of this fine Italian eatery is unmatched anywhere else in Old Port.

Interesting restaurant in an 1800's female prison, tables are set in basement of this old building. Atmosphere is fabulous. Menu is written on a chalkboard in Italian and explained in detail by excellent waiters. The Italian dinners were great.

A former woman's prison in Old Montreal, unlikely place but great ambience, amazing Italian food cooked by Nona herself, get a reservation, and stop in the kitchen to practice your Italian with her
