We were so excited to come back here for dinner when we saw this place during the daytime. Its tucked into a courtyard through a building facade, and makes you feel like you are sitting in a garden outdoors but hidden away. Trees everywhere, with...More

Bistro Boris is a small quaint restaurant with a moderately sized terrace. The ambiance was a big part of the comfort level rarely found in a downtown restaurant. However, it was the staff that enhanced our visit and made it very memorable. Our cream of...More

Boris Bistro is a few blocks from the basilica. We enjoyed poutine, the Canadian national food. Also the mojito Boris was really wonderful. Service was also very good.

Went here for an after work dinner with friends. Since we wanted somewhere pleasant to enjoy each other's company, the terrace certainly delivered. Wonderful setting. However, the praise ends here. We didn't order entrées and I had the Halibut main meal (29$!). What arrived looked...More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The setting is lovely -- a terrace that's really in an open lot between some buildings on busy Rue McGill, but is separated enough that it feels like a quiet piazza. The lighting was a bit low, with most...More

The food was very good. I had a salad with lardons and greens. Husband had lamb. We ordered two glasses of Chardonnay. Very small serving for 14.00 each, and nothing to rave about, so we ordered a bottle of Italian wine that was good.

Had a quick lunch here and was impressed. The staff was super on their game. My friend and I both had the salmon salad, which was presented on a gorgeous black slate. The fish was cooked perfectly and the salad dressed well. The choice of...More

My wife is gluten sensitive and we were able to order around her needs. Obviously, from my own review (Pacdan1136), we thought the restaurant was great. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Ask for whatever you... More
