Small restaurant in a residential area-10 or 12 tables. Very nicely prepared and presented French food, relatively limited menu. Enjoyed the meal and the ambience, would definitely recommend.

We spent a lovely evening at Le Pegasus celebrating a birthday. We were very curious to try this restaurant and the rack of lamb was indeed wonderful, pink and moist oh yes and a generous serving. To begin on the house is a pot of...More

My husband and I stood outside the restaurant wondering if we should go in. The menu look limited, the door nondescript, the place looked deserted. We decided to go in since we all had already bought a bottle of wine. It's BYOB. It was a...More

We had a table of 12 and not once did the service disappoint nor the food. Not only was the food up to the usual standards but each plate went to the right guest at the right time. Thanks again for the super night.

Le Pegase was a wonderful way to end a trip to Montreal for the Grand Prix. Staying in the Plateau, we chose BYOB restos that we could walk to and this one was the best. Less crowded than Le Quartier General, we found the food...More

MONTREAL is known for its small French restaurants with wonderful food. This was our first time here and were delighted with the place. Small, unpretentious decor in the east end of the city. Bring your own wine so it keeps the price to a very...More

Wonderful French cuisine without the haughtiness! The evening started out with the offer of an English menu. I am comfortable in French, but I did appreciate this kind show of respect, and even if English was not the first language of the staff every effort...More

From start to finish a wonderful experience on two separate occasions! Warm welcome and very helpful servicing staff. Food was eccentric but delicious. The fact it is BYOB is a great selling point but the value of the five course meals is the clincher. It's...More

Although the menu is not large, it has something in every category. The menu is handwritten and I think changes with what is available in the market. We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The fact... More

Description
Located in the heart of the Plateau for 25 years, Le Pégase is renowned for its fine French cuisine and a selection of meats cooked to perfection. You can bring your own wine, so ... be your own sommelier and select your favorite bottles! The decor and atmosphere are welcoming and friendly. A romantic evening between lovers or a convivial moment for friends conjugate there perfectly.--In the kitchenThe owner-chef Michael Audet-Laparé is illustrated in many restaurants (Chez Victoire, Le Quartier General, Laurie-Raphaël, Grenadine) before investing in command of Le Pégase. Assisted by Jean-Luc Peyrotes, he applies, every day, to work fine seasonal ingredients on the well-kept cooking and to express his taste for the culinary innovation and the marriages of flavors. In the dining-roomDamien Haennel, associated owner, orchestrates the service and its rhythm with a lightness tinged with twenty years of experience in catering. A good mood and a professionalism which favors the friendly reception of our duet of waiters, Johann and Morgane.
