Came in here with some friends back in 2016. We met for dinner and a night out. Staff but very unpolite and served people that came in after us. Food was disgusting, my burger was not even cooked and pure raw in the center. My friend fried had been burnt and we requested for another where the staff choose to... More

Nice pub for after dinner drinks and some dance on Fri nights. The place is not that cozy and I would mostly recommend it to young group of friends and not to couples. Check out their fries and enjoy more than one beer in this pretty Irish locale.

We went here for drinks after dinner for my niece's 18th birthday. Was not very busy at the beginning but got busy later on. Very loud, very dark. The girl bartender was horrible, clearly did not want to be there and not pleasant at all. If you do not want to work in a bar go home, or work somewhere... More

Went there with a bunch of friends for their Monday special all-you-can-eat fish 'n' chips and the portion was huge (so half of us didn't actually order a second one). Fish was nice with crispy batter but chips too salty for our liking. Didn't try their drinks this time, maybe next time?

I usually frequent the one in Pointe Claire as it's close to our office But we had an opportunity to try the downtown location out this weekend No different - typical Irish themed pub with all the trimmings Staff are friendly and efficient and catered our large group with little fuss Food is great and plentiful - you definitely won't... I went to the west island McKibbins, enjoyed it and one week later I tried the Bishop St location. Again it was to catch some live baseball. The Inside tables were mostly empty on Friday lunchtime, because many patrons were outise on the rear terrasse, which looked very nice (but no TV...). I had the steak and kidney pie; my... More

Stopped in for some drinks and the staff was friendly and the service quick. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an Irish pub.

What you see is what you get here. Everything is the standard faux-Irish form that you have come to expect no matter where you are. We never made it inside because it was a nice day to dine outside but I am sure that it was standard pub décor. One item of note though, it is not cheap so you... More

Excellent variety of beers, prices are good, lots of drinks to try, ambiance is simply great! Meals are from all sizes and the variety is excellent also, including traditional Irish meals. Prices are good (you can get a good meal and a beer for 20 to 25$), and the staff is really friendly and serves you both in french or... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
