I don't remember. We didn't have any trouble ordering though, so I presume we had A menu with both French and English.

Hi Charles. Modavie's menu is geared toward adults. However, since this restaurant is not as formal as others in Old Town Montreal, a family with children would feel comfortable there, especially during lunch. I also... More

We prefer a quiet time without music. Would a Sunday around 1:30 or 2:00 be a good time?

I would recommend calling ahead. They should be able to situate you at a table in a quieter area. Hope that helps. :)

Description
Seven nights a week, local bands take the stage at Montreal's hottest Jazz bar and bistro. Modavie's spirited setting sets the scene for a night of great tunes, top dining and generous pastis toasting. The bistro's far-reaching wine menu hits just the right notes and helps round off succulent lamb, fish, beef and inspired pasta dishes.
