There were 18 of us who went there and everybody was happy with the food, service, price and ambiance. The place is really nicely decorated on two floors. Food was good and plentiful and just seasoned right. Service was good. Only complaint is that not everybody was served at about the same time so some were eating while some have... More

The restaurant is clean and modern in appearance, more attractive than the average Vietnamese restaurant. The food was delicious and well plated. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive. We discovered that a "spring roll" at this restaurant is actually a fresh rice-paper roll (what elsewhere (in Alberta, at least) is often called an "Imperial roll" or a "salad roll"), and... More

Upon arriving the restaurant had a bad odour. The service staff are trying to present a pleasant image...but it is more of a passive aggressive front. They rushed us into ordering......the restaurant was not busy...so I don`t understand the urgency. We each had a different meal, the meals lacked flavour, all around not very good. Next time I will spend... More

We were two couples enjoying the elegant dining adventure offered at Ong Ca Can with their seven beef speciality that they are uniquely known for. We are never disappointed here. This is an upscale restaurant with good service and reasonably priced for the high quality cuisine. We spent several hours and the time just flew by! My sweetheart and I... More

One of the best dinner I've ever had: well prepared and nice waiters, good selection of wines and the most amazing food! Who knew that the vietnamese cuisine was so delicious? I still dream about my grilled salmon in teriyaki sauce

We've been here a couple times now before seeing shows in the area and it never disappoints. Delicious and fresh. I had a plate of grilled beef, tender chicken and shrimp brochette served with sticky rice and a tasty side salad. The table d'hôtel menu is worth it. I had the asparagus & crab soup which was delicious. The included... More

Decent food and postions, reasonable prices (about $50 for two appetizers, two mains and a dessert) and attentive staff. Fried banana was delicious although I'd doubt it's very authentic. The menu was a bit small.

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
