Go there on a fairly regular basis. A soup with imperial rolls is usually my meal. Pretty copious. Even the small soup, I usually cannot finish, but I just cannot go around their imperial rolls.

Authentic tasty Viet comfort foods, specially in a chilly and windy winter day. Suggest to try the beef, the thin slices of beef will cook in the hot broth.

I want authentic food . This is ,hands down , the best Pho in the city !!! Perfect clear broth , you can taste that it is made from scratch. Fresh thai mint and bean sprouts , fresh red and green chilies , also one of the only places that offer both tendon and tripe! .

Service was quick and prompt. Drinks came out quickly - coke and iced coffee. Pretty spot on in terms of a bit of bitterness of the instant coffee and sweetness of condense milk. Bean sprouts, green chilli and lime was provided. Pho came out shortly after with the soup being hot, noodles were instant variety, not fresh like in Sydney,... More

Don't be surprised by the size of this small restaurant. It does not look like a five-star place, but the food they serve is high-quality. If you love Pho, this is one of the best places to go in Montreal. The portions (pho) are HUGE, I have never had the large option, the medium is already big. The prices are... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighbourhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centres, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
