We went for dim sum last year and were not that impressed but thought we'd give it another try. It was terrific this time! I think the difference was that we were in the main room this time, not a side room, so a lot...More

Always a treat to eat at Ruby Rouge! The food is varied (less so outside of lunch and dinner time) and always fresh and great-tasting! For a light snack and less of a crowd, come on Sunday morning at around 10:30 for a light snack....More

This is not a place where you want to spend your hard earn money for a decent meal. I suggest you take your money to someplace else as there are other choices in the area. You won’t get much service in this restaurant. The ingredient...More

We decided to dine at this restaurant for dinner because we had dined there a couple of times in the last few years, and were impressed with the quality and authenticity of its Cantonese food and warm service. This time, the food was as good...More

Get there as if fills up quickly. The food on the carts came out hot and good portion sized! Dim Sum is very competitive in Chinatown, avg cost per plate is comparable across other restaurants serving the same. Service is usual for Chinatown: kinda grumpy...More

We were walking around China town and decided to do DimSum. The place was busy with Asians which is usually a good sign food could've good. Unfortunately the selection was average to poor. Maybe 4 to 6 cart servers were trolling basically some limited options....More

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel I have to make an exception this time. WARNING Many of the dishes have shrimp in it even though it does not say it on the menu. I can't eat seafood and when I received my pork...More

We chance upon this place after asking the locals of where to eat upon passing by the Chinatown. Quite large eating area and you pick your choice of dim sim from pushing cart. We try their roasted pork which the skin is so crispy and...More

Huge very popular spot. Food was good. I've had better Dim Sum especially in NYC, but this was pretty good. All the dumplings we sampled were good as were the BBQ pork buns. Service was good, some servers were more friendly than others. The linens...More

Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the
brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's
aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine.
Distinguished at its entry points by towering
vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighbourhood
acts as a focal point for the Chinese community,
hectic with educational facilities, cultural centres,
acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers.

Usually causal. Not unless if you are invited to a banquet of some sort like a wedding, birthday etc., then it should be formal.
