Great for special occasions when you want to splurge on excellent French food. I try and go during MTL a la table to help bring down the cost and it never disappoints.

This sophisticated and stylish restaurant delivers on all fronts! The food is wonderfully prepared with innovative regional offerings as well as modern takes on classics. Presentation was elegant and uncluttered. Service was spot on, efficient but not hovering. The staff is knowledgable about the chefs offerings and wines to pair. There are also a few cocktail specials and I highly... More

The move down town changed the attitude of the staff and the desire to please the customers. Loved it on St Denis-brought friend from all over the country there.. always very special. New location with grand spaces between tables lets the help get lost as does it`s appeal Sorry

This was an overdue visit to Toqué that we have been planning for a good 2 years. We arrived around 7:30 PM for the 7 service tasting menu. The service, the presentation of the wine, the food, the ambiance... everything was perfect! I'm still drooling over the menu choices!

One of the best meals we've ever had in Montreal for our 19th wedding anniversary. The room is beautiful, subdued and absorbs the conversations allowing your own party to easily speak and be heard. The staff are spectacular, they are responsible for half of the experience, knowledgeable, approachable (not something one finds in a restaurant of this level) , tactful,... More

Montreal is blessed to have some of the most incredible restaurants in Canada. Toqué! did not disappoint. The service, ambiance, food and wine were all 5 Star. Quality fresh farm ingredients and exceptional service and attention to the smallest details is why Toqué! is No.1 in Canada.

I'm sorry to have to write this, but here is the truth. It's not a 1 star restaurant, the service and quality of food are 5 stars. However, not once did any of us at our table talk about how delicious it was. In fact, I ate the duck and pork mains and didn't enjoy either one. Now, you can... More

The ambience, the service, and the food are EXCELLENT. The restaurant is very modern and sleek. The servers are dressed in grey lacks, print shirts, and ties. They know the menu cold and are very helpful in selections. We had wine by the glass because my wife is not a big drinker. The selections were spot-on and the server gave... More

We enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with wine at this highly rated Montreal establishment. The founding chef has received the Order of Canada for good reason. The staff is very attentive and engaged in providing a first class dining experience. The food was very interesting and well presented. The wines were very well matched to the individual courses. Although... More

Description

---16 years ago Toque! opened featuring local produce: a showcase for Quebec's terroir and its suppliers. The ongoing contributions of these artisans is no less important today. We have them to thank for foie gras de canard or salicornia; lamb of heirloom vegetables; seafood or fine herbs. These tireless farmers, foragers and fishermen inspire Toque!'s cuisine, on which they bestow tastes, textures and natural aromas and unparalleled freshness.

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
