the ambience was cool, soothing and relaxing after a hard day of traveling....it became romantic as the night went on. the drinks were cold and refreshing and quite unique --- enough so to make us want to try several of the offerings. the food was magnificent - served hot and fresh. it was most tasty and each dish that we... Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, amazing food. Had the lasagna, it was perfect. My husband had fish and fries. Huge portions. You won't leave hungry.

For a business lunch or a family dinner, this place is very good. The food is average italian so don't expect feeling in Roma there but it is ok. The design is also correct. The service is good but also you are not at Ritz there. So it is a middle of the road italian style place that can be... More

The chefs salad was on the edge of limp. With one wedge of tomatoe and one slice of cucumber it was as unimaginative as you get The linguine with shrimp and scallops was good, nothing remotely mind blowing but at least it was ok I order the most expensive glass of red ($14) from the menu and it was mediocre... Moderate to good food, depending on the plates chosen. Mid-range prices. Excellent service. But freezing inside on this winter's coldest day.....

Went with my husband for supper during the week. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The Caesar salad and pasta shrimp dish I had was very good and nice portions. Will definitely go back.

The food was this kind of cheap food, enormous plates, most of it frozen. Nothing was fresh. I did not like my meal but had no intention of making a scene. The ambiance is bad, classless, I just wanted to pay and leave at that point. My server observed kindly that I did not eat my plate further than a... More

This place accommodated our large group. The service was relatively quick and food was good. The wine seemed a bit expensive but perhaps that is normal in these parts.

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
