This is a restaurant with old French decoration and the foods here are decent. We tried eggs benedict, crepe. Both are good enough but do not excel.

We went to Au Petit Extra at the recommendation of our Airbnb hosts who live in the area. It was the best meal we had while in Montreal and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved every single thing I ate and drank there. They were nice enough to accomodate my gluten free, lactose free diet too.

We enjoyed the wine and the service. The food was good at a reasonable price point. Or server was lovely and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend for a night out with friends.

If you are in Montreal's East end, pay a visit to Au Petit Extra, It is an excellent French restaurant, bistro style. Fine French cuisine without breaking the bank.

This restaurant has been in business for past 30 years. Décor reflects this. Food is okay and nothing special. We had the sole and it was ho hum Service on the other hand was excellent.

Au Petit Extra I would say is reasonably priced for the food and the excellent service. A nice dinner with appetizer and dessert would be about $35 to $50 per person... obviously more when you add in a cocktail and wine... More
