Pack some patience, secret is out. This chocolate is phenomenal. Experience in person at the store or order it to your house via online. By far my favourite Chocolate.

Juliette's was a perfect stop just before dinner at a restaurant nearby. My daughter and I had the chocolate mint tea and Grandma's white hot chocolate - wonderful! While our ensuing dinners were just average, the drinks, service and ambience at Juliette's were exquisite.

I've eaten at fancy chocolate places all over the world, each claiming to be the best - Juliette et Chocolat proves them all wrong. One bite of the chocolate shot and I wanted to pack my bags and move into the restaurant so I never had to leave. I wish I could eat nothing but their chocolate shots for the... More

My friends and I loved everything about this place. The St-Laurent location is beautiful: bright, spacious, airy. Service is impeccable: friendly, helpful, and efficient. The menu is huge: all sorts of crepes, desserts, brownies, and beverages highlighting chocolates of varying origins and % cocoa. I had the brownie kebab, which offers a tasting of 5 bite-sized brownies, served with a... More

I've been in Canada for 11+ years and tried hot chocolates everywhere but only one is as close as it gets to the best ones you'd have in Paris, the ones that feel and taste like melted fine chocolate, not like cocoa powder in steamed milk: Juliette & Chocolat. Indulge once into one of their "à l'ancienne" or "grands crus"... More

This place....Grandmother's hot chocolate is worth a visit alone. The warm balsamico brownie with raspberry makes it a must-do. This location has a lot of seating in a bright, modern atmosphere, and from what I saw of the savory menu it's great for lunch. But really, in your heart, you know you're here for the chocolate. As you should be.

We went here 3 times during the week we visited Montreal because it was so good! We loved the deserts...we had the huge bowl sundae which was to die for! We also shared the chocolate fondant brownie with caramel sauce and ice cream! For lunch we had the chicken bacon crepe which was one of the best I've tasted...nice and... More

The chocolate was awesome from here! We didn't get to try any savory items there but from the quality of everything we tried there, i can't imagine it will be disappointing. Check out the different locations closest to your area.

They heated the brownie without asking. I complained and they didn't bother replacing. Rather said they'd tell the preparers not to do it again. The cappuccino was $5 and barely had foam nor taste. Pretty disappointed. Wouldn't go back. The decor is nicer than what you eat.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
